HRH Duchess of Cambridge
On Tuesday during a Clarence House tea party for World War II pilots and crew, Charles was “talking about grandchildren” with Geoff Bradley, who was invited along with his veteran father-in-law Owen Burns. “He was saying Princess Charlotte does sleep through the night,” Geoff recalled (per the Daily Mail), “and it was much easier on mum than Prince George.”
Let’s not be too harsh on li’l Georgie and his snoozing habits, though! Yes, when the little prince, who turns 2 next month, was just a newborn, Prince William had no qualms about telling the press his son was “pretty loud.” By the time he was 9 months old, though, George was embarking on his first royal tour and sleeping through the night, according to his mum.
And while it is most impressive that Charlotte is sleeping so well before she’s even hit the 2-month mark, her nighttime schedule hasn’t been completely seamless, either. Just three weeks ago, William told the players of England’s women’s soccer team his daughter was keeping him up at night! According to the U.K.’s Telegraph, he even told team captain Steph Houghton Charlotte’s sleeplessness was “probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired.”
William wasn’t upset about that, though. Daddy’s little princess can do no wrong!
