Kate Middleton snapped new photos of her littlest loves, newborn baby Princess Charlotte and big brother Prince George, and Kensington Palace has shared them with the world.

The pics, which show George, 22 months, holding and kissing his baby sister, were released on Saturday and mark the first official images of the princess, Royal Baby No. 2, and the first photos taken of her in general in more than a month.

Charlotte was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London on May 2, after which parents Kate and Prince William stepped out with her and showed her to reporters and photographers. George was also last photographed that day, when his dad brought him to the medical center to visit Kate and his new baby sister.

In the new photos, the little prince sports a white collared shirt with blue trimming, blue shorts and matching socks and black shows and holds and looks at baby Charlotte, who is wearing a cozy white sweater onesie with a frilly collar and is sitting on his lap, nestled in between him and a white pillow.

While babies’ features do change in the first few months, the princess currently has blue eyes and dark blond hair.

Kensington Palace said the Duchess of Cambridge had snapped the pics in mid-May at Anmer Hall, her and William’s home at grandmother Queen Elizabeth II‘s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.

Kensington Palace had earlier in the day released one of the photos on its Twitter and Instagram pages as a thank-you to the many fans and social media followers who showed their support. The palace had also used social media to announce the birth of Charlotte, whose name was not released at the time, as well as pics and videos of the royal family.

Pictures of fan letters, in pink and white envelopes, cards and gifts were also shared on Saturday.

The photos of Charlotte and George were shared a month before Charlotte is set to be christened, by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. This is the same place where William’s late mother, Princess Diana, was baptized.

“I am delighted to be invited to conduct the baptism of HRH Princess Charlotte,” he said in a statement. “It will be an extraordinary honor and privilege to help welcome the Princess into the family of the church. Along with her parents and all her family, I look forward to joining in this joyful day of celebration and thanksgiving.”
