‘Twelve”s Chace Crawford and 50 Cent Slim Down for Movie Roles

Chace Crawford and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson carefully watched the scale while filming their upcoming movies. The ‘Twelve’ costars spoke to ET about shedding the pounds at the film’s New York premiere.

In order to sell himself as authentic in ‘Twelve,’ Chace wanted to differentiate his look from the all-American poster boy he is on "Gossip Girl." He told ET, "I dropped some weight for the character. I just wanted to look unlike I do on the show."

The blonde haired and blue eyed heartthrob also commented on 50 Cent’s commitment to transitioning from the airwaves to the big screen. "He’s a true professional. He was getting all of his tattoos lasered off and he wants to be an actor," Chace said.
